Ballroom & Latin Classes

Whether you wish to learn to dance socially, to take part in competitions and exams or for a special 'first dance' at your wedding, DC Dance can offer you expert tuition.

There are five main dances included in our Ballroom section:

Waltz - is one of the most graceful of the Ballroom dances, Tango - an exciting dance, steps relating to the raw Argentine Tango, Foxtrot - graceful and beautiful, most challenging of the Ballroom style, Quickstep - like a Foxtrot to a slower tempo, with echoes of the Charleston and Viennese Waltz - originally danced by the Viennese aristocracy

Tuition in Argentine Tango is also available at the school alongside the launch of the IDTA's new Argentine Tango syllabus.
